Bramble Green is a family run Irish knitwear shop founded by Claire Taylor-McCooke in 2016. The Bramble Green Studio is based near the famous Dark Hedges in Co. Antrim, along Ireland's scenic Causeway Coast. The shop is a handy stop if travelling up North to go sight-seeing.
Claire and her husband Alex have 3 children and love to take them on outdoor adventures locally, the coastal colours of Ballintoy and Ballycastle often inspire the knitwear range. As a family the McCooke's also enjoy spending time in Donegal and it is here that Claire fell in love with the iconic Aran sweater and also the beautiful wool from Donegal Yarns in Kilcar. Many of the knits made for the Studio are crafted with the flecked Donegal wool.
Bramble Green stocks a wide range of knitwear products for both adults and children incuding; Aran sweaters, hand-knit beanies and bonnets, handmade baby booties, irish-craft cardigans, wool socks and Scottish Fair Isle.
Claire now sells the famous McWilliam's bags of Cork. Made by the sailmakers of Ireland and featured in the movie Top Gun:Maverick.
